Dekumed has been established in 1974 as a plastic processing company.
Because of the huge variety and quantities of the processed liquid plastic materials, the development, design and manufacturing of appropriate processing equipment was inevitable.
Out of these own needs, Dekumed started to expand step by step is product range with specific and customized solutions for applications in many different industries, i.e. automotive, aerospace, defense, boatbuilding and wind energy.
With the domestic business growth, the expansion into foreign markets and due to more complex machines, the first production facilities became too small. In 1990 Dekumed moved into a new building in Bernau with 3500 square meters of floor space. Currently additional production floor of 1000 square meters is under construction.Contemporaneously with our product portfolio, also the range of services has been expanded. Our design department, equipped with the latest versions of CAD software, provides to our customers services for professional concepts engineering.
Further professional services provided by Dekumed are: model- and molds making, tool making, injection molding, turning and milling.
Based on the combination of experience, know-how and state-of-art manufacturing processes, Dekumed is in the position to offer reliable products “Made in Germany” in highest quality – still at a competitive and affordable price.
